This is the basic foundation course for those aspiring to be “Professionals” in field of Shipping, especially those aspiring to take up Professional Qualifying examinations later.

Course Contents and Duration

The following topics will be covered during the 10 Working Days Course, which will be held on RTS Sinbad in the Khor Port of Ras Al Khaima, Sunday to Thursday. (The topics will be covered in Two weeks, of 5 Working days in each week.)

5.      Bulk Carrier and Tanker Documents

6.      Liner Agency Documentation

7.      Chartering

8.      Ports and Cargoes

9.      Ship Management and Operations

10.  Practical Work on Ship Familiarisation (Conducted on Board RTS Sindbad)  

 

Multiple Choice Test and Certification   At the end of the course  there will be a test covering the above 10 Lessons You will receive a Certificate in Shipping Business by RAK Training Ship Sindbad  BITIC validated by BIRLA Institute of Technology MESRA , Ranchi Successful candidates are those who achieve over 60% There are no course pre-requisites.   Course Fees - AED 4000   Course Duration for Working Executives/ Personnel For Working Executives a modified timining Course of Weekend Classes can be offered.
